Remembrance Day Worship
Lest We Forget - In Worship this morning we remembered all of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for us. We had a two minute silence to pay our respects with our school family and our Year 6 class shared their Remembrance Day Artwork. We then moved onto Celebration Worship where our ‘Value Points Winners’ were awarded with their certificates. Well done to all of our children this week!
Remembrance Service in Whitehall Cemetery
Our Year 6 Heads and Deputies along with some of our WOW (Worship Our Way) group attended the special service of Remembrance on Armistice Day at Whitehall Cemetery. They laid a special wreath and poppy from St Barnabas and also placed poppies and crosses on our special adopted war graves. We will remember them.

DT - Christmas Stockings - Explore and Analyse
Today in Year 4 we started our new DT unit - Christmas Stockings. We have been learning about how stockings were introduced, exploring different examples and analysing what makes a hood stocking focusing on design and function.
Golden Time - Year 5
During our 'golden time' this afternoon. The children have been involved in some fun and enjoyable activities. We had some children trying to complete a very challenging jigsaw which they managed to complete successfully, with great teamwork. Some of the children were competing against each other on TT Rockstars, drawing, teaching each other how to create a french plait and playing a game of cards. This is a wonderful way to reward them for their learning demonstrated throughout the week.
