Year 5 had the best afternoon with Junior Jam. They loved creating house music in computing, playing African drums in music and playing drama games in performing arts.
It was so fantastic to be all together singing again as a school family.
Today we learnt about Olympic and Paralympic values today in Worship. We noticed that some of the values were the same as our Christian Values- courage, respect and friendship. We learnt that with determination. courage and perseverance we all have the ability to achieve great things.
We are so impressed with our Reception children who have settled into our school so brilliantly. They loved their first lunch and tried some new foods. Well done Reception!
It was wonderful to have all of our Reception children in school for a full day for the first time after their transition sessions last week. What a marvellous Monday!
We loved being back together again as a school family in our hall for our welcome back Worship.
Our Year 3 and 4 children had a brilliant first day choosing new books from the library, creating all about me chatterboxes and thinking of fun morning greetings.
Our Year 5 and 6 children loved being back together again and being able to play with each other at break and lunch times.
In order to develop our confidence and start each day in a positive way, we have created our own morning greetings such as fist pumps, high fives, hugs, smiles, hand shakes, dances etc
Our infant classes had a brilliant first day back in school. Our Reception class settled in brilliantly into their new school. Well done Ducklings, we are so proud of you!
