Tonight saw the final evening of games for the Darwen Primary School girls football league. It was extremely tense as two teams, us and Avondale,  led the top of the table and those two teams played each other tonight to decide on the overall winners! It was an incredibly close game which finished 0-0 but all of the girls played their hearts out, showed respect at every level and did so with huge smiles on their face. They now go on to represent the Borough at the Lancashire finals in January. Go Team B - we are so proud of you all and special thanks to the supporting parents and Mr Bloomfield for his exemplary coaching.
We can’t wait to present them with trophies tomorrow in our Celebration Worship.
