Today we had the pleasure of taking sixteen of our Year 4 children to represent the school at the Blackburn with Darwen Schools Key Step Gymnastics competition at S Bede’s. 
They took part in three routines ; floor exercise, body management and vault.
It was a very long day but the children stayed focused and worked so hard to remember the three complex routines. 
We had a mixed team, two girls teams and a boys team. They all worked solidly within their squads showing perseverance and encouraging each other every step of the way. 
We can’t wait to hear the outcome in a couple of days when the results will be shared.
