Today, Year 4 enjoyed an engaging and hands-on session with Panda Paramedics, where they learned all about the different emergency services and the important roles they play in keeping us safe. The children explored when and how to call for help in an emergency and gained valuable first aid knowledge through a range of practical activities. They had the opportunity to apply bandages, practise chest compressions on mannequins and learn what to do if someone is choking. It was a fantastic, interactive experience that helped build the children’s confidence, awareness and understanding of how they can respond safely in an emergency.
