Year 1 have been busy writing their own poem based on ‘The Magic Porridge Pot.’ To do this, they have gathered ideas for different foods and the sounds that they make such as sausages sizzling, biscuits snapping, crisps crunching, noodles slurping, juice glugging, pop fizzing and bubblegum popping and also generated rhyming words.
