Today in maths we continued our learning with multiplication. We made equal groups of counters which we added together. From this we were able to write our multiplication sentence with the multiply symbol. Once we had created our groups, when then moved the counters into stacks. This is called unitising, it made it easier to see that 1 group does not always have a value of 1.
