Our Art lesson saw the children build on their knowledge of tones and shades. The children took inspiration from Nancy McCroskey’s 1992 work ‘Suite in Black, White and Grey’. The children used their own imagination to design tiles using various lines and shapes. Using different shading techniques, they were able to create texture and depth in their work. It was lovely to see the children become passionate about their work and proud of their end result.
