Reception have been learning how to use counting strategies to help them count irregular arrangements. This week they have been counting the farm animals who are all in a muddle. They have learnt that to count objects that can’t be moved, we must ‘tag’ them by circling them or putting a mark on them to help us remember which ones have already been counted.
